...The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
White Rock Creek Near White Rock Creek At Greenville Ave affecting
Dallas County.
Walnut Creek Near Mansfield affecting Tarrant County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Walnut Creek near Mansfield.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur along the
creek through Mansfield, downstream of Joe Pool Lake. At 22 feet,
Retta Road, North Street, Walnut Creek Road, and Magnolia Road are
all flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
this morning to a crest of 23.3 feet this morning. It will then
fall below flood stage this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.2
feet on 10/26/2023.

Instruction:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.Be especially cautious at night when it is
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
