Areas of fog early this morning will reduce visibility to 1 to 3 miles at times. Motorists may encounter patches of dense fog within these areas that further reduces visibility to near 0 at times. Visibility will ultimately improve by mid morning as the fog dissipates or clouds and scattered showers move in. When driving and encountering the fog, immediately SLOW DOWN. Use your low beam headlights and leave extra distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
