At 201 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and strong thunderstorms along and south of Interstate 80 in eastern Sweetwater County, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, with local gusts around 60 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Sweetwater County, including the following locations... Bitter Creek, Tipton, Red Desert, and Point Of Rocks. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 118 and 181.
