At 337 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bates Hole, which is 20 miles south of Casper, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Natrona County, including the following locations... Casper Mountain and Casper Mountain County Park.
