Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...West Central Natrona County in central Wyoming near
Hiland...
* WHEN...Until 230 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos that drain toward
Hiland.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1129 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
South Fork Powder River, Poison Creek, Maverick Butte Draw and
Sand Draw. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Hiland.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Weather Service when you can do so safely.
