* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portage County in central Wisconsin... Waushara County in central Wisconsin... Wood County in central Wisconsin... Northwestern Calumet County in east central Wisconsin... Winnebago County in east central Wisconsin... Brown County in northeastern Wisconsin... Northwestern Kewaunee County in northeastern Wisconsin... Outagamie County in northeastern Wisconsin... Waupaca County in northeastern Wisconsin... * WHEN...Until 415 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1010 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Based on expected additional rainfall overnight it is possible that Flash Flood Warnings may eventually be needed in portions of the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.
