* At 620 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Elkins to 8 miles east of Rock Cave to Cedar
Creek State Park, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Cedar Creek State Park, Beverly, Burnsville, Durbin, Flatwoods,
Womelsdorf (Coalton), Huttonsville, Sand Fork, Alexander, Cheat
Bridge, Eden, Cleveland, Helvetia, Pickens, and Kanawha Head.
This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 68 and 90.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
