Description:
At 554 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kenna to 7 miles north of Milton. Movement
was southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Charleston, Nitro, Winfield, Dunbar, Sissonville, Eleanor, Buffalo,
Clendenin, Poca, Cross Lanes, Elkview, Teays Valley, Bancroft,
Liberty, and Fraziers Bottom.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 6 and 23.
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 106 and 124.
Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 41 and 47.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
