Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast West Virginia, including the
following county, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated no additional heavy
rain is expected within the advisory area during the extent
of the advisory. Stream levels are expected to be decreasing,
but there may be still a few locations with lingering
flooding.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Brush Creek, Bluestone River, Blacklick Creek, Big Branch,
Bolars Fork, Camp Creek and Beaver Branch.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.

Instruction:
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather
