Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast West Virginia, including the
following county, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 316 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Brush Creek, Bluestone River, Blacklick Creek, Big Branch,
Bolars Fork, Camp Creek and Beaver Branch.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected through at least the next 45 minutes to an hour.
Additional showers and storms may return around 415 PM EDT.

Instruction:
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
