* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Virginia, including the following
areas, Eastern Louisa, Fluvanna and Western Louisa.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms are expected to become more
widespread this evening through tonight and early Wednesday
morning ahead of a slow moving cold front. This front is
expected to stall across the region Wednesday into Wednesday
night with additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms
expected Wednesday afternoon and evening. Total rainfall
amounts are expected to range from 2 to 4 inches, with
localized amounts of 4 to 6 inches.
