At 419 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dillwyn, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
possible.

Powhatan, Cumberland, Guinea Mills, Tobaccoville, Trenholm,
Sunnyside, Morven, Chula, Macon, Ballsville, Raines Tavern, Angola,
Rock Castle, Oak Forest, Three Square, Winterham, Hawk, Michaux,
Whiteville, and West View.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
