At 537 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Mannboro, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Sutherland around 555 PM EDT. Matoaca around 600 PM EDT. Petersburg and Ettrick around 605 PM EDT. Colonial Heights and Virginia State University around 610 PM EDT. Fort Lee around 615 PM EDT. Prince George around 620 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include North Wellville, Burgess, Birchett Estate, Addison, Reams, Earls, Ammon, Jordan Point Country Club, Petersburg National Battlefield, and New Bohemia.
