At 434 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Jarratt, or 7 miles east of Purdy, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Greensville, southwestern Southampton and southwestern Sussex Counties, including the following locations... Adams Grove, Owens, Gray, Mason, Yale, Branchville, Drewryville, Joyner, Huske, and Worrell.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southeastern Virginia.
