* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Virginia, including the following counties, Isle of Wight, Southampton and Surry. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 332 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since 245 PM. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area through 415 PM. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Smithfield, Suffolk, Isle Of Wight, Dendron, Rescue, Bethel Church, Comet, Central Hill, Raynor, Whitley, Moonlight, Pons, Lawson, Delk Crossroads, Longview, Benns Church, Indika, Mogarts Beach, Runnymede and Wills Corner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
