At 651 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 18 miles north of Morgan to near Evanston. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Evanston, Almy, Wahsatch, Causey Reservoir, and Castle Rock. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 1 and 12. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 182 and 196.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
