Description: 
At 702 PM MDT, I-15 remains closed as inundation of flood water continues between mile markers 109-111. Flash flooding continues to move downstream west of I-15 along the Beaver River and is expected to reach Minersville Reservoir imminently. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar has resulted in a debris flow moving through the Beaver River from Beaver City to Minersville reservoir. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. The following information is being relayed by Beaver County... "BEAVER COUNTY ALERT: All of Beaver is now in READY status, prepare to evacuate if notified. Please stay out of flood-impacted areas unless you are an official responder. Extra traffic and bystanders are blocking critical access routes and delaying rescue crews. Help us to help others by avoiding flood zones. Thank you!". HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Flash flooding which will continue well downstream of the Cottonwood Burn Scar in Beaver County all the way to Minersville Reservoir. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding along the Beaver River from Beaver City to Minersville Reservoir Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Beaver, Adamsville and Minersville Reservoir.

Follow the orders of Beaver County emergency officials. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
