Description:
At 752 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking decaying thunderstorms
along a line extending from 21 miles east of Green River to 7 miles
northwest of Hite Marina. These storms will be capable of producing
gusty outflow winds far away from precipitation. Movement was
northwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Green River, Hanksville, Sunnyside, East Carbon, Goblin Valley,
Elgin, and Woodside.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 between mile markers 107 and 162.
US Route 6 between mile markers 261 and 300.
Utah Route 24 between mile markers 99 and 160.
Utah Route 95 between mile markers 0 and 36.
Utah Route 276 between mile markers 0 and 5.
