Description: 
At 358 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20 miles northeast of Beaver Dam, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Washington and southwestern Iron Counties. This includes the following highways... Utah Route 18 near mile marker 50. Utah Route 56 near mile marker 4, and between mile markers 13 and 24.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
