Nueces River At Cotulla affecting La Salle County.
For the Nueces River...including Cotulla, Tilden, Three Rivers,
Mathis, Bluntzer, Calallen...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Nueces River at Cotulla.
* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 9.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tonight to
22.9 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall to 21.7 feet and
begin rising again early Thursday afternoon. It will rise to 22.9
feet Friday evening. It will then fall again but remain above
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
