Cowleech Fork Sabine River At Greenville affecting Hunt County.
South Fork Sabine River Near Quinlan affecting Rockwall and Hunt
Counties.
For the Cowleech Fork Sabine River...including Greenville...Minor
flooding is forecast.
For the South Fork Sabine River...including Quinlan...Minor flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Cowleech Fork Sabine River at Greenville.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to late Wednesday night.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Minor out of bank flooding will occur along
the river reach.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 14.2 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow
afternoon.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
Instruction:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
