Giles County in middle Tennessee...
Lawrence County in middle Tennessee...
Wayne County in middle Tennessee...
* Until 330 AM CDT.
* At 1224 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 3 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Waynesboro, Loretto, Collinwood,
Summertown, Clifton, Ardmore, St. Joseph, Elkton, Minor Hill,
Ethridge, Lynnville, Leoma, Westpoint, Henryville, Iron City,
Goodspring, Cypress Inn and Prospect.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
