At 248 PM EDT/148 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of Skyline, or 16 miles south of Winchester, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Chattanooga, Dunlap, Jasper, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, South Pittsburg, Walden, Whitwell, Kimball, and Monteagle.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
