At 751 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Branchville, or 12 miles east of Bamberg, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Branchville, Bowman, Rowesville, and Yonder Field. This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 between mile markers 153 and 169. Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 92.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
