Description:
At 254 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lugoff, or 9 miles south of Camden, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Camden, Lugoff, Cassatt, Elgin, Goodale State Park,
Lucknow, Ashwood, Dinkins Mill, Manville, Spring Hill, North Towne
Square Shopping Center, Antioch, Midway Elementary School, Boykin,
Fort Jackson McCrady Training Center, Wateree River Correctional
Institution, Woodward Airfield, Rembert, and Woodrow.
This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 84
and 116.
