Description:
* WHAT...Visibility 1 mile or less in dense smoke.
* WHERE...Inland Berkeley County.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Thick smoke will make travel difficult and could cause
respiratory difficulty.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Horse Island Wildfire burning in the
Frances Marion National Forest near Shulerville is producing
widespread dense smoke with visibility 1 mile or less across
portions of northeast Berkeley County. Watch for road closures and
heed any evacuation orders from local, state and federal officials.
Instruction:
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
