Description: 
* WHAT...Visibility 1 mile or less in dense smoke. * WHERE...Inland Berkeley County. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Thick smoke will make travel difficult and could cause respiratory difficulty. The United States Forest Service may close roads overnight, including portions of Highway 45 in northeast Berkeley County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Horse Island Wildfire burning in the Francis Marion National Forest near Shulerville is producing widespread dense smoke with visibility 1 mile or less across portions of northeast Berkeley County. Visibilities may lower to 1/4 mile or less overnight as winds diminish and the smoke lowers closer to the ground. Heed any evacuation orders from local, state or federal officials.

Persons with respiratory illnesses should remain indoors to avoid inhaling smoke.
