Description:
* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt and seas
9 to 14 ft.
* WHERE...Coastal Gulf waters east of the mouth of the Mississippi
River, including the sounds and Lake Borgne.
* WHEN...Tropical Storm force winds possible from Tuesday
afternoon until Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds and hazardous seas could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Instruction:
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
