Description: 
At 411 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Forest Grove to 6 miles southwest of Hillsboro. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Banks, Cornelius, North Plains, and Dilley. This includes the following highways in Oregon... U.S. Highway 26 west of Portland between mile markers 49 and 61. State Highway 6 between mile markers 47 and 51.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
