Description:
At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
South Russell, or 14 miles southwest of Chardon, moving east at 30
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
South Russell, Garrettsville, Mantua, Aurora, Parkman, Windham,
Hiram, and Bainbridge.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for
northeastern Ohio.
