Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Clark.
* WHEN...Until 345 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 216 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding
is lingering in the advisory area from earlier flash
flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Springfield, South Charleston, Lisbon, Pitchin, Selma,
Springfield Municipal Airport, Plattsburg and Hustead.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
