* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fayette. In south central Ohio, Highland. In southwest Ohio, Clinton. * WHEN...Until 530 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 232 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Washington Court House, Wilmington, Greenfield, Blanchester, Sabina, Leesburg, New Vienna, Staunton, Good Hope, Clarksville, Martinsville, Midland, Highland, Lees Creek, New Antioch, Reesville, Melvin, Morrisville, Samantha and Burtonville.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
