Description:
At 541 PM CDT /441 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles
north of Carson, or 38 miles southwest of Mandan, moving east at 30
mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. The public reported ping pong ball size
hail at Heart Butte Dam with this storm.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Carson, Flasher, Lark and Raleigh.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
