* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by repetitive periods of excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast North Carolina, including the following areas, Bladen, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover, Coastal Pender, Columbus, Inland Brunswick, Inland New Hanover, Inland Pender and Robeson. * WHEN...From this evening through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow moving cold front will approach and stall over southeast North Carolina later Thursday through Friday. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall could produce rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. - weather.gov/safety/flood
