At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Winsteadville, or 21 miles east of River Road, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Belhaven, Sladesville, Ransomville, Scranton, Ponzer, Pamlico Beach,
Leechville, Winsteadville, Rose Bay, Sidney Crossroads, Bayview Ferry
Terminal, and Sydney Crossroads.
