At 716 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mocksville, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Winston-Salem, Lexington, Thomasville, Kernersville, Clemmons,
Bermuda Run, Linwood, Arcadia, Gordontown, and Welcome.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 84 and 104.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 182 and 204.
Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 64.
