Description:
At 402 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Greensboro, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Lake Mackintosh
Marina, Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina, Lake Townsend Marina, Lake
Townsend, Lake Jeanette Marina, and Monticello.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 near Mile Marker 35, and between Mile Markers 127 and
131.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 140, and between Mile
Markers 212 and 226.
Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 98 and 103.
