At 222 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Brevard, or 4 miles southeast of Mount Pisgah, moving
northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Mills River, Etowah, B.R. Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The Nc Arboretum,
Mount Pisgah, Looking Glass, Forge Mountain, Horse Shoe, and North
Transylvania.
