At 809 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Ansonville, or 9 miles northwest of Wadesboro, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Rockingham, Wadesboro, Ansonville, Polkton, Lilesville, Morven, Peachland, and Blewett Falls Lake.
