At 311 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fort Landing, or 15 miles southwest of Stumpy Point, moving east at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Stumpy Point, Nebraska, Lake Landing, Middletown, and Fort Landing.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
eastern North Carolina.
