At 546 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Honey Island, or 15 miles west of Leland, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Leland, Northwest, Bishop, Makatoka, Hightsville, Honey
Island, Batarora, Silver Lake, Town Creek, Freeman, Phoenix, Delco,
Winnabow, Riegelwood, Wrightsboro, Belville, Navassa, and Sandy
Creek.
This includes Interstate 140 between mile markers 15 and 16.
