At 350 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Nags Head Fishing Pier to
6 miles north of Rodanthe. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Bodie Island Lighthouse, Wanchese, and Outer Banks Fishing Pier.
