At 859 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Clarksville, or 14 miles north of Henderson, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Warrenton, Norlina, Stovall, Middleburg, Macon, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, Kerr Lake, Wise, Tungsten, and Satterwhite Point Marina. This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 219 and 233.
