Description:
At 726 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Maple Hill, or 11 miles west of New River Station, moving east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, New River Station, Pumpkin Center, Camp Lejeune Center,
Piney Green, Folkstone, Cypress Creek, Midway Park, Verona, Catherine
Lake, Dixon, Onslow Beach, Sneads Ferry, Sea View Pier, Richlands
South, and Haws Run.
