Description:
At 501 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pleasant Grove, or 8 miles northeast of Plymouth, moving east at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Plymouth, Woodley, Pleasant Grove, Westover, Scuppernong, Mackeys,
and Roper.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
