Description:
At 419 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Knotts Island to near Nixonton. Movement
was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
vehicles.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Weeksville, Whitehall Shores, Indiantown, Shiloh, and Knotts
Island around 425 PM EDT.
Old Trap around 430 PM EDT.
Corolla around 435 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Bob White Fork,
Poplar Branch, Spot, Glen Cove, Gregory, Barco, Spences Corner, Goose
Creek, Taylors Beach, and Maple.
