Description:
At 228 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Maxton, or 7 miles east of Laurinburg, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Red Springs, Pembroke, Maxton, St. Pauls, Smiths,
Howellsville, Rex, Raemon, Tolarsville, Shannon, Buie, Robeson
Community College, Tobermory, Wakulla, Barker Ten Mile, Prospect,
Elrod, Parkton, and Rennert.
This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 17
and 38.
