At 118 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Henderson, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail and heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Ponding on the roadway and low-lying areas is possible. Locations impacted include... Henderson, Warrenton, Arcola, Afton, and Gillburg. This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 216 and 219.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
