Description:
At 343 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Buie, or near Lumberton, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Red Springs, Pembroke, Maxton, St. Pauls, Howellsville,
Rex, Duart, Tolarsville, Hestertown, Shannon, Buie, Robeson Community
College, Tobermory, Wakulla, Barker Ten Mile, Jerome, Prospect,
Elrod, and Parkton.
This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 9
and 38.
