Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Union NC County in the piedmont of North
Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 105 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Many locations covered by this advisory already received ample
rainfall on Thursday afternoon and evening. Consequently, soils
here may be nearly saturated, and excessive runoff may develop
quickly as a result.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Monroe, Indian Trail, Weddington, Stallings, Wesley Chapel,
Waxhaw, Mineral Springs, Marvin and Jaars.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
